Move-in Space Planning

It's easy to get overwhelmed with all the "moving" parts that you have to handle when renting or buying a new home.

I offer space planning so you'll know how your existing items will work in your new space.  And, if you are eager to start sho[ping, you'll have some more precise measurements on what you may need, and

you won't end up with furniture that is too big, too small or just doesn't seem to work.

We'll meet so I can see what you own and love and discuss your needs. Then we'll go visit your new space so I can take measurements.   With floor plans and 3-D imaging, you'll be able to see your space before you have your keys in hand and set foot in the door.

The Move-in Space Planning Process:

Step 1: On-site consultation to tour your existing home,  get measurements and take photos of your art and furniture, and discuss your new home vision.

Step 2: I meet with you again at your new space to take measurements, and photos and do a walk-through with you to discuss how you envision using your new rooms.

Step 3: Create floor plans and 3-D imaging and meet again.  Based on your feedback, I'll tweak the design so you have a final roadmap to make moving in as seamless as it can be.

In the end, you'll:

  • have a layout with all your furniture marked so the movers know exactly where pieces should be placed;

  • have suggestions on the shapes and sizes for some key pieces you may want to purchase; and

  • be able to envision your new home more specified to you!
