Wandering around Warwick?

Have you ever ventured to Warwick, New York? It's a cute little town, only about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. Only about an hour from Northern New Jersey. Stroll around this charming little town and you'll find it's studded with all types of restaurants and shops. The one cute little spot I popped into, between two appointments I had, was Fannie's. It was cute and worth the trip!

Favorite things?

(We haven't tried everything, but so far here are a few of our favorite things.)

Shrimp + Grits -One of the top two shrimp and grits I've ever had... and I've had a lot! This one comes with delicate shrimp, organic grits and pickled chilis.

Scones- I just love scones! I'll share one of my favorite recipes in another post. :)

The Specials- Wonderful combinations! Delicious dishes!

Cocktails- Mimosas! Bloody Mary's! Sangria!

Housemade Vanilla Ice Cream- Excellent side for the bread pudding.

Here's my all-time favorite recipe for shrimp and grits. It's based off of a recipe from Magnolia's in Charleston. This amazing shrimp and grits is numero uno for me and it's what I compare every other shrimp and grits to. I hope you like it...and if you are ever in Charleston, you should really try it for yourself!
